Two Miami University graduate students are the recipients of the Audubon Miami Valley (AMV) Rosie Bloom Scholarship. AMV, in collaboration with Miami University's Project Dragonfly, has awarded 15 partial scholarships to Earth Expedition students since 2009.

Students achieve Service Honor Roll by successful completion of service hours to a local non-profit organization during an academic semester. Service Honor Roll recipients fall into the following categories: Bronze: 25 - 49 hours of community service, Silver: 50 - 74 hours of community service, Gold: 75-99 hours of community service and Platinum: 100+ hours of community service.
Graduate students in the Global Field Program (GFP) from Miami University's Project Dragonfly have been awarded a Community Engagement badge from the university for making a difference in human and ecological communities. As part of the GFP, students apply the tools of conservation science and advance the tenets central to the master's degree: inquiry, community and voice.
